DBA provides transport support to landowners and developers promoting sites through Local Development Plans (LDPs). Our work helps inform the suitability of sites in transport terms, including road and pedestrian access, road network capacity, and sustainable transport connectivity.

We review a development site’s existing transport conditions and constraints, including how safe site access can be achieved, the capacity of the surrounding road network, public transport availability, and opportunities to enhance walking and cycling connectivity. We prepare traffic and access assessments to support sites including identifying potential mitigation measures and demonstrate how sites can be accessed and delivered in compliance with National Planning Framework 4 (NPF4) policy.

DBA works closely with landowners, developers, and site promoters, providing clear and robust transport advice to support site promotion and help unlock land for future development.
