DBA’s Civils Department was responsible for the site-wide levels and drainage design, while the Structures Department handled the structural design and SER certification for the housing development.

The site’s favourable ground conditions were leveraged as part of a broader earthworks strategy to form structural platforms for the house foundations. This approach significantly reduced trench fill depths and largely eliminated the need for piling.

Additionally, DBA secured AIP approvals from South Lanarkshire Council for four culverts across the site.

Project Timescale: The project commenced in 2017 and was completed in 2021.
