Dougall Baillie have significant experience in providing information relating to site facilitation works. Prior to projects commencing on-site we will liaise with local authorities to determine the most appropriate routes for deliveries to site, effective traffic management and pedestrian management.
In many urban projects this may involve complex traffic modelling to consider the implication of reduced lane widths, junction capacities and road closures.
We will verify the suitablity of proposed vehicular routes using Industry Standard ‘Autotrack’ so ware which models the swept paths of all commonly used vehicles. We also have the ability to design abnormal vehicles to model manoeuvres to sites such as windfarms and hydro-electric schemes.
Services included within the scope are:
- Vehicle access studies, including swept path analysis for site specific vehicles
- Preparation of traffic management schemes
- Utility Diversion assessment
- Minor works design
- Temporary Traffic Regula on Orders
